Character is more important than intellect because it helps others. An example of character is instead of bashing your teammate for missing a shot they motivate them and tell them what to do instead of yelling at them.

I think this means that cheating is bad and it is telling to not take short cuts because there are no shortcuts in sports. Also it is telling how it is not worth it to cheat because you might get caught and you might be stripped away from your medals and championships. And when you win you will feel guilt because you know you cheated so if you win it's gonna take away happiness if you win.
