I think what this means is if you have the correct goals in your life your life will fall into place and it will be simple. The way this applies to me as a student is i can make goals everyday and they will guide me into becoming a great student. An example of this is like if you're making small simple goals everyday that can be achieved the same day then by the end of the week it will be a good week because they're the correct goals. 

Ralph Waldo Emerson

I think this means that character is more important than intellect. For example if you have bad grades it doesn't matter as long as you have character because it's more important. Character is more important than intellect because it helps others. An example of character is instead of bashing your teammate for missing a shot they motivate them and tell them what to do instead of yelling at them. 

James Freeman Clarke

 I think this means that we need to do good all the time because then it make a difference all eternity. For example if you do wrong then it will make a difference forever. But if you do good then it will make a difference forever too but it will be a good difference. 

Rachel Castillo

I think this means to choose the right and if you do the right you'll be taken care of because karma will reward you. For example if you see someone drop money and you give it back then life will reward you and take care of you. An example of choosing the wrong is if someone drops money and you take it and give it back them karma will punish you and you were taught the wrong way.
